I am struck by how many streams are in my research \u201cpipeline\u201d:\u00a0 Awaiting Copy-Edited Version of \u00a0WhitePaper, Creating Presentation for April Colloquium, Conducting Phase II Data Analysis, Awaiting Evaluation of Final Assignment, Regularly Reviewing Recent Publications.\u00a0 I could continue, but the key theme here is juggling.\u00a0 At any given time there are many components of research, albeit at different stages, that need to be managed simultaneously.\u00a0 As I reflect on this, I\u00a0recognize that the\u00a0“stream” that continues to lag , is regular review of new literature.\u00a0 I am not sure how, but\u00a0I need to carve out a bit more time for this.\u00a0 For the upcoming week I\u00a0have a few papers\u00a0to read\u00a0either on the subway or in the evenings.<\/p>\n
Overall, the week has been\u00a0productive and I am pleased with the outcomes.\u00a0 A 90 minute meeting with a statistics expert resulted in clarity on some methodology issues that were bedevilling me.\u00a0\u00a0 Today’s efforts have\u00a0been on refining my presentation for the April colloquium.\u00a0 I am going to tackle some analysis for the next 30 minutes and then head home.<\/p>\n
Work continues to be exceedingly busy so I am generally quite fatigued.\u00a0 I am definitely counting down to vacation in the sun in one week!!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
